How we’re paid

Some of our shop links are affiliate links. Here is what that means for you.

Affiliate links

When you click certain links to retailers and then buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It doesn’t cost you anything extra. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code so search engines know about them.

Amazon

Bra Foundation takes part in Amazon’s Associates programme for Amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Most of our shop buttons run a search on Amazon.co.uk for the product, so you can compare the sellers and sizes available. We don’t show Amazon prices, star ratings or Amazon’s product photos — they change constantly and you should check them on Amazon itself.

Banner ads

Some pages also carry banner ads from 5od, a small ad service run by the owner of this site. They’re for shops and brands in the Awin affiliate network, and they’re chosen to suit the page, not you. Each one is labelled “Ad”. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission. Ads only load if you accept ads cookies; see how ads and cookies work here.

How we choose products

We pick current bras from established brands to illustrate each style in our guides, and we check the details on the brand’s own website, recording the date we checked. Commission never affects which facts we report, and we don’t accept payment for coverage.

The history and guides

Our history pages and guides are written independently of any retailer and contain no paid placements. Banner ads are kept separate from the text and labelled “Ad”.
